My husband Nick and I are so excited about launching this show through NiCori Studios and Productions!  I had this idea for a cabaret celebrating female songwriters several months ago that I thought was going to be another solo project.  The more I researched the music, the more I felt that collaborating with other woman would be the best way to highlight the amazing talents of these inspiring and talented female songwriters.  The result is what you see before you.

From Lucy Simon to Amanda McBroom....From Goldrich and Heisler to Christine Lavin...From Joni Mitchell to The Indigo Girls...I know from my own experience, it has been the music of these woman, that has helped me cry though tough times and laugh through joyous times, providing a kind of soundtrack for the human heart.   

Working with the amazingly talented women in Music and Lyrics By Her has been the highlight of this year.  Mimi’s heart and soul are as breathtaking as her voice.  Andrea’s joy and warmth are inspiring, and Nikki’s spunk and humor are a joy to be around!  We have been having a blast creating this show together. We've created this website to help you get to know each of us a little better and hear some of our most recent recordings.
