Annie Kozuch [pronounced Ko’ zuk] is a versatile and dynamic actress and singer reared in Mexico City who enjoys a successful and broad-based career in New York City.
In concert, Ms. Kozuch has been featured as a soloist with the New Haven Symphony Orchestra under the musical direction of Jung-Ho Pak, and conductor Gerald Steichen, with tribute programs to the music of Rodgers & Hammerstein, Andrew Lloyd Webber, Lerner & Lowe, Sondheim, Porter, Loesser and many more. Other Broadway Pops performances include the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, Tokyo City Symphony Orchestra, and an Evening of Jazz at the Natchez Opera Festival.
In 2010, she released her debut CD, Here With You, which featured standard jazz, boleros and bossa nova. Ms. Kozuch was thrilled when it peaked at No. 6 on the CMJ Jazz Charts sharing the Top Ten with Miles Davis and Esperanza Spalding. This year, she received a 2011 MAC Award Recording Nominee for the recording.
