Jenny Lynn Stewart

Jenny Lynn Stewart is delighted to be performing on the Music at the Mansion concert series at the Oakeside Bloomfield Cultural Center.  She performs her one-woman shows, The Sixties:  On Broadway, Lift Your Spirit, Richard Rodgers Revisited and Broadway Diva throughout the United States

Last summer, the hills came alive when she played the role of The Mother Abbess in a production of The Sound of Music at Reagle Music Theatre of Greater Boston where she starred opposite Patrick Cassidy.  This was her 3rd appearance in a production of The Sound of Music in the role of The Mother Abbess which included a tour of Asia co-starring opposite Marie Osmond.  Previously she also shared the stage with John Davidson in this iconic musical.

Equally at home on the operatic stage, Jenny’s operatic repertoire includes the title roles of Aida, and Tosca, Amelia in Un Ballo In Maschera, Leonora in Il Trovatore, Leonora in La Forza Del Destino, Santuzza in Cavalleria Rusticana, Donna Anna and Donna Elvira in Don Giovanni and Magda in The Consul, singing with regional companies as well as in New York City.  Ms. Stewart made her Carnegie Hall debut as the soprano soloist in Dvorak’s Requiem.
