Meg Flather is a two time Backstage Bistro Award Winner (Musical Comedy Duo in 1986 and Female Vocalist in 2017) and three time MAC Award Winner (Hanson Award in 2014, Best Song in 2016, Female Vocalist in 2017), and two time Broadwayworld nominee (CD Release in 2012 and Female Vocalist in 2017.) As a singer/songwriter Meg has released seven CD’s of her original music (all of which are available on iTunes). Her most recent praised shows at Don’t Tell Mama were Portraits and Carly & Me. Meg has written and recorded songs for independent films, Off Broadway, and on behalf of 9/11, Alzheimer’s, Autism, and suicide awareness. She has also been a featured performer for The Gay Men’s Health Crisis at New York’s historic Webster Hall, the Vermont and Tribeca Film Festivals, and to benefit the 2013 victims of Typhoon Yolanda at the Philippine Consulate in NYC.
